Happy Memorial Day weekend. Celebrate with a cocktail like this one.

JM’S REVENGE 
Created by James Lee, The Bitter Bar 

1.5 oz. Rhum J.M Agricole Blanc 
.5 oz. Averna Amaro 
1/2 lime muddled 
1 pineapple wedge muddled 
1 TBSP sugar 

Muddle lime, pineapple, and sugar. Add ice and remaining ingredients. Shake and double strain into old fashioned glass over crushed ice. Garnish with lime wheel and Thai basil flower.

Peppery rye whiskey meets up with a mishmash of seasonal berries in this frosty sipper.

1 1/2 oz. rye whiskey
1/2 oz. Averna
1/4 oz. lime
1/4 oz. simple syrup (1:1)
4 fresh, seasonal berries
Crushed ice
Tools: muddler, barspoon
Glass: Old Fashioned
Garnish: skewed raspberry, 2 drops of mezcal

In an Old Fashioned glass, muddle berries with simple syrup. Add remaining ingredients, pack glass with crushed ice, give a quick stir and garnish.
